In the San Giovanni pond, a natural extension of the Posada River, flamingos and herons have been nesting for several years. <\/p><p>San Giovanni di Posada borders La Caletta di Siniscola. La Caletta beach, surrounded by a magnificent pine forest traversed by the Posada pond, is very popular with water sports enthusiasts (kitesurfing, windsurfing). The central part of the beach is called Sa Preta Ruia (&#8220;the red stone&#8221;) due to the reddish color of the surrounding hills. Continuing along the coastal road, one is captivated by a breathtaking panorama that stretches for miles of pine forest and passes through the small fishing village of Santa Lucia, also protected by a tower standing guard over the bay.   <\/p><p>Along the pine forest, a series of small beaches known as dei Confetti follow one another, where the &#8220;confetti&#8221; are nothing more than small pebbles tirelessly shaped by the force of the sea. <strong>a lunar landscape<\/strong> and stretch for several kilometers inland, blending with valleys covered in green meadows. <strong>It is an extraordinary landscape<\/strong>, rich in <strong>centuries-old junipers<\/strong> that protect one of the most evocative panoramas on the entire coast. Here, the limestone cliff is pierced by six immense caves that open directly onto the beach.
